OUR HISTORY:

Total Telcom Inc. evolved as a result of the merger of two Alberta based companies, Total Telcom Ltd. and D.C. Corrosion Corporation in May of 1999.

D.C. Corrosion Corporation was a public company whose shares had traded on a recognized stock exchange since July of 1995.  Total Telcom Ltd. was a private company operating primarily as a construction services contractor for underground and aerial telecommunication installation projects in Alberta and the Northwestern United States.

The two companies merged and consolidated operations to our Edmonton based Head Office. The name of the resulting entity was changed to Total Telcom Inc.

WHO WE ARE TODAY:

Since the merger in 1999 Total Telcom Inc. has continued operations as a respected public entity that designs, constructs and operates fiber optic cable (FOC) networks in Western Canada.  Our focus is on the development and maintenance of our own high speed network infrastructure for Tier 2 communities, where we perceive there remains significant opportunities for network deployment and subsequent growth of  our Corporation.  Other opportunities for our Corporation include providing professional consulting, design, engineering, construction and maintenance services for selected third party clients. We have an established team of experienced design and construction personnel and have developed relationships that see our world class fiber network and operations personnel utilized by some of North America’s most prominent and successful National Service Providers.  In keeping with our strategy to be a progressive player in our sector, Total Telcom Inc. is also constantly researching opportunities to expand our operations to include new infrastructure and new services critical to the future development of communications and data management for the home and business environments.
